Meet your somatic psychotherapist

Born and Raised in New York City to two artists, embodied creative expression has always been an important part of my life. At the same time, the fast-paced environment of the city alongside various health diagnoses (Asthma, IBS, Chronic Lyme disease, chronic fatigue) and unsupported experiences of ADHD disconnected me from my body. Instead of listening to the sensations and symptoms of my body, I learned to doubt them, to numb against them, and to keep on keeping on. For many of us, even those of us who are highly sensitive and intuitive, we are raised in a world that teaches us to ignore the ways in which our bodies speak to us and signal their need for support and holding.

Through my own personal experiences with healing, I have found my way back to the body. It is through a stance of intersectionality, of relational somatics, of magic, of curious compassion, and deep patience that I have accepted my own life long healing journey. It is also how I unearthed my passion for helping others reclaim their innate healing powers, and reconnect with their inherent wholeness. Through these experiences with healing I have become well-versed in dance therapy, art therapy, energy healing, yoga, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and touch therapy.

I also identify as someone who is multicultural, and neurodivergent, lived experiences that deeply influence the way in which hold space and work with others.

My Approach

I welcome all of you into this co-creative space where we can get curious, express, release, play, integrate, and reclaim the narratives of our own inner oceans and lineages.

My work is deeply rooted in transformative justice, liberation psychology, expressive art practices, and trauma-informed care. I am also inspired by both my Puerto Rican and Irish heritage and weave ancestral magic, spirituality, astrology, and ritual into my practice. In my sessions I work authentically and relationally so that we may honor your pacing, embrace non-linearity, and unearth your unique and resilient inner wisdom.

I am honored to support individuals with chronic illness, health trauma, ADHD, multi-cultural and multi-racial identities, attachment wounding, developmental trauma, LGBTQIA+, and more.

I am bilingual in Spanish and English.
